Story

Help Support Adley’s Recovery and Her Family’s Journey

In just a few days, the lives of Eric, Kate, and their daughter Adley changed in ways no one could have imagined.

After experiencing severe headaches, Adley was taken to the children’s hospital where doctors discovered a brain tumor. In a whirlwind of events, she underwent two major surgeries to remove the tumor. The incredible news: the surgeons are confident they were able to remove it all, and early results show it is non-cancerous. We are so grateful for this outcome.

Adley’s surgery went as well as anyone could hope—she didn’t need a blood transfusion and the operation was shorter than expected. The amazing team at the children’s hospital treated her with the utmost care, like she was their own. Now begins the long road to recovery.

Adley will need extensive inpatient rehabilitation, including both physical and speech therapy. This next phase may take weeks, possibly months. As her body and mind heal, her parents are doing everything they can to support her.

During this time, Kate will be stepping away from work to be at Adley’s side, while Eric is on FMLA with reduced income. As you can imagine, the medical costs, rehabilitation, travel, and time away from work are adding up quickly.

We are reaching out to our community—friends, family, and even kind-hearted strangers—to help ease the financial burden on this wonderful family. Your donation, no matter the size, will go directly to support Adley’s recovery and help Kate and Eric focus on what matters most: getting their daughter back to a happy, healthy, and normal life.

Thank you for your love, prayers, and support. Every share, message, and donation means the world.
