Our dear friend Marmara Tobal, a powerhouse of energy, joy, and strength, recently underwent a double mastectomy as part of her fight against breast cancer. The good news is that the surgery was a success, and Marmara is already showing her signature resilience as she begins the road to recovery.
But the journey ahead won’t be easy. As a beloved fitness instructor and dancer, Marmara has always relied on her body and her one-on-one training sessions to make a living. Now, as she takes time to heal, she won’t be able to work in the same capacity for a while.
We’re asking for your help.
Marmara needs support to cover her rent, groceries, utilities, physical therapy, and transportation to follow-up hospital visits. Your donation—no matter how small—will give her the peace of mind to focus on getting stronger without the crushing stress of financial instability.
