Support Sydnee’s Path to Healing and Hope

Hi everyone,

Our names are Breen Meyerle, Michelle Zumwalt, and Christina Funk, and we’re organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our incredible friend, Sydnee Yengo, a bright and beautiful 22-year-old who is bravely fighting Ewing Sarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of bone cancer.

After months of grueling treatments and countless doctor visits, Sydnee’s medical team has determined that the best—and only—path forward is a Type 3 hemipelvectomy: an intense and life-altering surgery involving the removal of part of her pelvis to stop the spread of cancer.

This surgery is not only physically and emotionally demanding—it comes with a massive financial burden.

Sydnee will face:

A long hospital stay and possible ICU care

Extensive physical therapy and rehabilitation

Specialized medical equipment and mobility aids

Home modifications to make daily life accessible

Lost income and overwhelming out-of-pocket medical costs

Despite everything, Sydnee continues to fight with remarkable courage and resilience. She is one of the most compassionate, determined, and inspiring people we know—and now, she needs us.
