Story

Today, we’re sharing tatum’s story as she soon begins her journey with hospice. We’re focusing on the joy and love she’s brought into our lives. She has fought so hard during the time she’s had here on this earth. Shes taught us all to slow down, cherish time, smile more, have fun even in the small moments and to love deep without condition. Shes is a bright star shining in the lives of everyone who knows and loves her. Unfortunately her little body can’t keep up with the soul that dwells within it. We’ll be making every day count, creating beautiful memories, and cherishing the time we have left. Please keep Tatum, her parents, siblings and our family in your thoughts and prayers. **update 3/14** our girl has fought so hard for almost 4 years and yesterday the hardest decision any parent should have to make was made our baby will be going home on hospice. There is no surgery or medication that can fix her heart and the risk are too high so she will be coming home to spend her time with family surrounded by love.

*update 3/9* our girl is back in the cardiac icu with what they believe to be a infection in her blood we’re waiting on test and cultures to confirm the cause but she’s so strong and resilient ❤️

Tatum has endured more than most and is so resilient she has been handling her heart failure since 4 months old, a few weeks ago we were admitted thinking it was just complications from strep or sepsis again, they were able to get the infection under control but unfortunately her poor little heart just has not been able to regain the function it was at it’s functioning around 22% and the wonderful team is trying multiple medications to regain her function if they’re successful she will receive valve replacement surgery if it’s not successful our next step is evaluation for a heart transplant, with that being said we will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future, we’re asking if you feel called to help with the financial stress so we can be with our girl as much as possible we are forever grateful ❤️
