Help Danny Walk Again: Support His Recovery

Story

Hi there, my name is Taylor. My fiancé, Danny, was attending Welcome to Rockville 2025 in Daytona, FL, when he tragically got injured during the band Attila’s set. He ruptured his patellar tendons in both the left and right knee and fractured his kneecap in the left leg, requiring immediate surgery on both knees to prevent further damage and mitigate any potential risk in further compromising his legs.

We’ve been told his recovery will be long and challenging, but our goal is to have him be able to walk down the aisle with me for our wedding in a few months. In order to get him back on his feet as soon as possible, he requires rehabilitation stays, extensive in-house therapy, adaptive changes to our home, and continuous care from doctor teams in Daytona due to the complexity of the injuries.

We are in need of some assistance as we navigate changes we expect to experience over the next several months, including lengthy time off work, large medical bills, and continuous travel from our home in Orlando to Daytona. With Danny being our breadwinner, we are growing concerned at the rising costs of his care and needing to continue to make ends meet in our day-to-day lives. We’re hopeful to raise some money to help keep the financial burden off his mind, so he can truly focus on recovery and be able to stand at the altar on his wedding day.
