HELP ANTHONY AND LISA FIGHT PANCREATIC CANCER

Dearest Family and Friends,
I am setting up this page on behalf of my brother-in-law Anthony Biscardi and my sister-in-law Lisa Zito Biscardi. For years, Anthony complained to doctors of abdominal pain and “stomach issues”. Repeatedly, he was told by the doctors that he has IBS. On November 12, 2024, Anthony was rushed to the hospital with the most excruciating abdominal pains he had ever experienced. Unfortunately, the initial tests revealed that there was cause for concern regarding a large mass on his pancreas. The most devastating news came a week later when a biopsy confirmed that Anthony has Stage 3 Pancreatic Cancer. Knowing that this is one of the most aggressive and deadliest cancers, Lisa pushed to get him immediate care: oncologist appointments, tests, and treatment.

Since this diagnosis, Anthony has undergone numerous tests and has been receiving chemotherapy and related treatments. He is not operable since the tumor has wrapped itself around a main artery. It has been a very challenging time for them. The cancer and chemotherapy have been debilitating on his body, causing him to lose over 50 lbs. As a result, Anthony is not able to work.

Anthony is on a long journey of medical appointments and treatments. He is determined to fight and beat this monster. Lisa has been doing EVERYTHING to support him. However, expenses are mounting. They need to travel to see specialists. Certain treatments, procedures and medicines are extremely expensive and not covered by insurance.
