Chris George, an extraordinary man and a beacon of inspiration as the Artistic Director at the Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts, is currently facing one of the toughest battles of his life. He is in a coma at Buffalo General Hospital, and his family, friends, and the countless students and artists he has mentored are rallying together to support him in this critical time.

Chris has dedicated his life to the arts, nurturing creativity and fostering talent in Buffalo and beyond. His impact is immeasurable, and now, he needs us. Medical expenses, recovery care, and support for his loved ones during this difficult journey are mounting, and every contribution—no matter how small—will help ease the burden and give Chris the best chance at healing.
