Join Rebekah’s Fight Against Leukemia
Story
Dear friends, family, and wonderfully kind strangers,
We’re reaching out to ask for support for someone incredibly special: Bekah— a brilliant, sassy, loving human, a devoted partner to Kwon, and an amazing mom to their wildly adorable toddler, Skadi.
Very recently, Bekah was diagnosed with acute leukemia, and just like that, life flipped completely upside down. What started as an ER trip for swollen lymph nodes and mystery bruises, quickly turned into hospital stays, urgent treatment, and the kind of whirlwind no one sees coming.
If you know Bekah, you know she’s the kind of person who keeps her humor even in the hardest times. Even now, in between blood draws and treatment talks, she’s cracking jokes and trying to keep things light for everyone else — which is just who she is.
But this fight is big. And while Bekah is doing everything she can to face it head-on, she and her little family need our help.

What They’re Up Against
Bekah is starting aggressive chemotherapy and will need extended treatment — possibly including long hospital stays and time in isolation. That would be hard enough on its own, but as a young mom who’s had to stop working overnight, it’s overwhelming.
Here’s what your support would help cover:
• Living expenses: With Bekah unable to work and Kwon balancing caregiving and holding things together, everyday costs like rent, groceries, and utilities are getting hard to manage.
• Childcare for Skadi: Treatment means long hours away, and they need safe, reliable care for their little one while Bekah fights through this.
• Medical bills: Even with insurance, the costs of chemo, meds, labs, and hospital time are piling up fast.
• Transportation & extras: Gas, parking, and last-minute trips to the hospital add up quickly.
• All the unexpected stuff: Meals, supplies, emotional support — you know, life.
