Stand by Danielle Trautman with Love

Dear friends,
I’m reaching out to all cherished friends and prayer warriors to come together in support and love during this time for my daughter from another mother, Danielle Trautman.
This Thursday, the 29th, Danielle will undergo neurological surgery to alleviate excruciating facial pain caused by Trigeminal Neuralgia. This condition is considered one of the top five most painful conditions known to humanity, with some individuals having resorted to suicide due to the unbearable pain.

Danielle’s symptoms began with mild shocks in her face—uncomfortable but manageable. However, as time passed, the shocks became increasingly intense and painful. Now, during a flare-up, she struggles to open her mouth to speak, eat, drink, or even brush her teeth, as she fears being shocked. The sensations have been compared to being struck by lightning in the face.

A recent brain MRI revealed that an artery is compressing a facial nerve. After a thorough discussion with her neurologist, Danielle has decided to proceed with a surgery called Microvascular Decompression (MVD). During the procedure, the surgeon will enter through her skull, locate the artery, and place a cushion between the artery and the nerve. God willing, this will cease the shocks.

She will be off work for six weeks, and since she does not have paid time off due to running her own business, not working means no income. While she has faced challenges before, we believe that she will overcome this one as well.

I know she would never reach out for assistance, but I truly believe that her friends and family can unite to help lighten her financial load.
