Help Baby Lakshmi Lalitha Get a Life-Saving Liver Transplant
Hello, my name is Swarna Pasupuleti, and I am reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my childhood classmate and dear friend Ravi Kishore. His 8-month-old daughter, V. Lakshmi Lalitha, has been diagnosed with a devastating condition: Extrahepatic Biliary Atresia — a rare and life-threatening liver disease in infants that blocks bile ducts and rapidly damages the liver.
After a detailed section biopsy, doctors confirmed cirrhotic changes in her liver, including:
• Loss of lobular architecture
• Nodule formation
• Feathery degeneration of hepatocytes
• Bile plugs and cholestasis
• Severe inflammation and fibrosis
• Bile duct proliferation
Her liver function reports show dangerously high bilirubin levels (13.2 mg/dL), along with abnormal enzyme levels and signs of severe hepatic failure. Without an urgent liver transplant, her condition will continue to deteriorate.
Estimated Cost: ₹35 Lakhs (~41,000 USD)
This amount covers the transplant surgery, post-operative ICU care, long-term medication, and follow-up at KMC Manipal, one of India’s leading transplant centers.
Ravi is a humble, hardworking father doing everything he can—but this cost is far beyond what his family can manage. We have just two months to gather these funds and give baby Lakshmi a chance at life.
Please consider donating—no amount is too small. If you are unable to donate, you can still help by sharing this campaign with your friends, family, and social networks.
Your support can make the difference between life and death for this little girl. Thank you for standing with us.
