Pedro’s Journey: A Father’s Fight to Heal

Story

My name is Pedro Galvez, many of you know me as Jame Bonds, and I’m one individual who will always say yes to everyone who may need help. On Thursday, May 22nd, I arrived at the hospital with a severe pseudomonas infection that created gas in my left foot and was moving to other parts of the body. Doctors informed me that if I hadn’t arrived early, the infection would have spread to the whole body, creating devastating damage.

On Saturday, May 24th, in order to save my life, a surgery was performed on my left foot, taking out all of the toes.

Today, Wednesday, May 28th, we are waiting for the podiatrist to see if everything has stopped or if any other surgery needs to be performed.

With all that being said, I am the main caretaker of my 2 kids and wife, and heavy moments are coming financially.

This is just a small rock on my pathway, but I will stand up again.
