Stand by Shoshana: Facing Brain Surgery
Story
Please help!
Shoshana is an 18 year old Jewish girl living in Brooklyn. After years and years of unbearable headaches that just seemed to get worse and worse as she aged, Shoshana was recently diagnosed with two to three aneurysms in her brain, and abnormal blood vessels in her neck and shoulder. Shoshana has been running from doctor to doctor and has been prescribed many different medications in order to relieve her symptoms. Now doctors are recommending brain surgery for Shoshana along with several other treatments to continue to help with her pain relief. She and her family (her father and step mother – her mother passed away when she was little) are struggling to keep up with bills ranging from emergency room visits, prescriptions, transportation, and basic life necessities. The family is also anticipating large medical bills from the upcoming surgery. Shoshana had been working in sales for a number of months before this happened and now she is completely out of work as a result of her diagnosis. Thank you so much for even considering this cause – any contribution would be deeply appreciated. Our goal is to raise 10,000. Mi kâamcha yisrael!
