Help Us Recover from a Devastating Accident

Story

I’ve always prided myself on doing whatever it takes to keep my family afloat. For the past 2.5 years, I worked at the mill, but I was laid off just last week. We were already under financial stress, but we were doing everything we could to stay on our feet.

Then, the unthinkable happened—my wife was in a terrible car accident. She suffered a broken arm for which she is in surgery as I write this, fractured ribs, and a broken back. She’s in the hospital now, and doctors say the road to recovery will be long and painful.

I’ve applied for unemployment, but it won’t even cover half of our monthly bills. Jess just started a new job—literally days before the crash. She’ll be out of work for the foreseeable future, and we’re staring down a mountain of medical bills, lost income, and uncertainty.

We need help. We need enough to get through the next few months of housing, utilities, groceries, and whatever the insurance doesn’t cover. Every dollar helps. Every share matters.
