Support Matt Creed’s Recovery Journey

Story

My name is Preston Creed. I am starting this GoFundMe for my big brother, Matt Creed. Matt was diagnosed with colitis a year ago, and it has spread rapidly through his intestines. He has been in the hospital since 5/8/25 with severe pain and discomfort. His large and small intestines had severe inflammation, with two holes and a lot of pus. They had an NG tube in for seven days collecting waste that leaked into his stomach. On 5/16/25, he had emergency surgery in which a third of his colon was removed and is now on an ostomy bag for at least six months, which is reversible in time with the right diet. He also is fighting infection in his stomach, in which he is getting sent home with an IV to stay hydrated and for his antibiotics.

I am reaching out with this fundraiser to help cover medical bills, personal bills, his medical supplies, and other expenses he may incur until he is able to go back to work in 3 months. He has no idea that I am doing this. I am trying to help lower his stress and worries about finances, so he can focus on recovery.
