On Thursday, sweet Mason Pike experienced a tragic medical emergency—he choked and was without oxygen for approximately 10 minutes. In those terrifying moments, he was resuscitated multiple times and rushed to the Children’s Hospital in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he is currently on a ventilator in critical condition.

Mason’s parents, April and Matt Pike, are living every parent’s worst fear. They are by his side around the clock, clinging to hope and praying for healing. While his medical team is doing everything they can, Mason’s long-term care needs remain unknown—and so do the medical costs that will come with them.
