Story

Hello family and friends,

We are reaching out on behalf of our beloved InaBeth and J McCoy.
You might know Ina and J from their childhood days growing up with their families. Perhaps you know them from their time at Harding University, where they met. Their friendship blossomed into love, and they have been united in marriage for 14 years. You might be connected to them through their amazing children: Rett (11), Mitchell (9), and Cora (7). They may have touched your life through their faithful following of Jesus over the years in various places and at various times. You might have worked alongside them, experiencing the authenticity and abundant love they share with everyone they meet. However you have shared life with them, we are confident that you have been blessed by knowing them.

You may already know parts of their story, but we would like to share this chapter with you.

InaBeth was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, and it became metastatic in 2019. She has endured six years of conventional and integrative treatments. Despite many hardships and struggles, they continue to rejoice, holding on to the living hope they have in Jesus as they trust in Him. This family is so much more than a medical diagnosis; this just happens to be a significant part of their story.
Ina and J “live life out loud.” They hold tight to their faith and are doers, not just hearers, of the Word. They are truly followers of Jesus.

Many of you have shown your love, support, and generosity; many more are asking how to help. We request and value your prayers always and need them to continue. We also understand the desire to do something tangible to support Ina and J during this season. This fund has been started as an avenue of generosity and is one way to show love and support. As one can imagine, the out of pocket expenses through this journey have been adding up. The funds will go directly to the McCoy family to be used at their discretion as they have need. Thank you to all who willingly contribute to this family.
