Fundraiser for Tilly Blake

Story

Our dear friend, Tilly Blake, a vibrant and beloved long-time local here in the Vail Valley is facing an unexpected and challenging journey after suffering a stroke on May 12th. Her diagnosis is a non-brain damaging stoke TIA from a clot in the vertebral artery, a vertebral dissection. Quite frankly she is lucky to be alive. This sudden medical event has left her needing care, therapy, and time to recover—along with overwhelming medical bills. She does have health insurance but will have lots to deal with in the coming months.

As many of you know, Tilly has always been a shining light in our community, offering kindness, support, and a helping hand to anyone in need. She’s a massage therapist and has lived in the Valley since 1997. Many of us know her as a long-time friend and acquaintance.

Due to the stroke, Tilly is unable to work, and the road to recovery will take time. We’re reaching out to our community to help cover her mounting medical expenses and the unforeseen costs of daily life. Any donation, no matter how small, will make a huge difference in her ability to focus on recovery without the added stress of financial hardship.
