Please feel free to share link. Colby and Rachel firmly believe God is still and has been moving in the midst of the season they are in. God is the ultimate healer and miracle worker. We pray daily that God would bring complete restoration of health to this beautiful family.

For over a year, Colby has been plagued by a variety of medical complications. Symptoms ranging from neurological dysfunction, cognitive impairment and severe physical ailments. There are good days, but those are very few and far between. This battle has left him mostly homebound, unable to work with his team out in the field, and thus unable to take a paycheck. Their financial burden is growing larger as their only remaining option is to seek specialists to remedy Colby’s health, all of whom will be out of network. To add to this, Colby will have multiple surgeries this year. (All unrelated to the primary reasons he has been sidelined. For example, his right pectoral muscle is completely detached on one side, leaving him with limited function of his dominant arm).

And that’s not all… Rachel’s recent bone marrow biopsy showed diseased HLH cells now dominate over her bone marrow donor’s cells. There is potential she may need to battle HLH again. Additionally, the donor’s cells that do remain are mutating due to old age with the potential complications ranging from living dependent on transfusions, various cardiovascular issues, total bone marrow failure, and/or blood cancers including leukemia. They will have no further details on any of this until the day these complications arise (we pray they never do). It’s a waiting game of blood tests every few months.
