The Great Billy Joe Trimble

Story

Our sweet, loving, strong grandpa is extremely ill. We recently found out that he has Stage 4 metastatic liver, colon, and spine cancer. This came out of nowhere for the family and he has been in the hospital and a care facility since. He was given a prognosis of 3-6 months to live.

Our grandma is absolutely distraught and didn’t realize that she would have to be making such hard decisions right this second.

We are hoping that we can raise funds to help alleviate the costs of caregivers while he is on hospice as he is likely going to be discharged from the nursing facility soon. He’s been in an incredible amount of pain to the point of not being able to complete physical therapy.

We know that times are so tough for everyone and healthcare can be outrageously expensive. We just want to set our grandma up for success in a very hard situation. Especially one that came to light so suddenly.

These funds would also help with any funeral costs that will be needed when the unfortunate time does come.
