Melvin’s Family Needs Your Help After Tragedy

On April 28, 2025, Melvin Crump, was riding his scooter home from work when he was the victim of a hit and run. The details surrounding the incident are still unclear, but the impact left Melvin with multiple skull fractures and life-threatening brain bleeds.

Doctors performed an emergency craniectomy, removing one-third of his skull to relieve pressure on his brain. He is currently in the ICU in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life. He is surrounded by loved ones praying for a miracle.

Melvin is a kind, hardworking man, an incredible husband, a devoted father, and a rock for his family. This tragedy has turned their world upside down, emotionally and financially.

At this time, we are asking for prayers and any help you can offer. As close friends have said, now is a the time to “Channel your inner Melvin”. Donations will go toward Melvin’s medical care, long-term rehabilitation, and supporting his family as they navigate this unimaginable journey.
