In Loving Memory of Hanif Palagiri – Support for His Family
It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of Mr. Hanif Palagiri, a kind soul and cherished member of the Atlanta community, who left his wife Raihan, his parents and his loved ones, far too soon on Tuesday, May 27th, 2025, at the young age of 33.
Hanif tragically suffered a brain hemorrhage and bravely fought for his life for three days at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, before he passed away surrounded by the hopes and prayers of loved ones.
Hanif was not only the sole breadwinner for his family, but also a loving husband and a devoted son to his aging parents in India, who worked tirelessly to support his dreams and journey to the United States.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Hanif was an active volunteer in the Atlanta Cricket League (ACL), where he touched countless lives with his warm heart, positivity, and selfless nature. His radiant energy and helpful spirit won the hearts of everyone around him, making this loss even more devastating to those who knew him.
Sadly, Hanif had recently lost his job, which resulted in an unfortunate halt in his medical insurance coverage, further compounding the challenges now faced by his grieving family.
We are now coming together as a community to support Hanif’s wife Raihan and parents in this unimaginably difficult time. Your generous donations will go directly toward:
- Funeral arrangements and airlifting his remains to India so his parents can bid him a final goodbye
- Clearing personal loans and outstanding obligations
- Providing financial support to his wife Raihan, who is currently without a source of income
