Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted supporters,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of our beloved brother Girma Hailu Ayana, who passed away on May 26, 2025. He was a devoted husband of Obse Sambata Denbi, a loving father of two children, a cherished family member, and a dear friend to many. He was known for unwavering kindness and deep faith in God. He dedicated his life serving others, supporting his family both here and back home, and always extending a warm smile to anyone he encounters. His passing has left a void that can never be filled. While bravely struggling with critically different kinds of illnesses for the last three years he was still the source of support for his family till he was confined to bed for the last seven months.
As we grieve this unimaginable loss and prepare to say our final goodbyes, we are also faced with unexpected expenses, including funeral and memorial costs, as well as ongoing support for his family during this difficult time. We are reaching out to our community for support—no contribution is too small, and every gesture of kindness means the world to us.
