Story

Help Support the Family of Peter Campbell

On May 27, 2025, our beloved brother, husband, father, and son, Peter James Campbell, passed away unexpectedly at just 47 years old.

Peter had lived with epilepsy since the age of 16. Despite the challenges it brought, he always met life with strength and a giving heart. On the day he passed, he was doing what he so often did—helping someone in need. While assisting with debris cleanup, he suffered a fatal seizure. Paramedics did everything they could, but he was gone. His oldest son was with him during those final, heartbreaking moments—a burden no young person should have to carry.

I’m Peter’s sister, Rebekah, and I want you to know: if Peter had been able to get affordable life insurance, he absolutely would have. But with epilepsy, that simply wasn’t an option.

Peter leaves behind the love of his life, Jennie, and eight children:

Brandon (19), Malcolm (18), Christian (16), Paisley (15), Maverick (13), Jackson (7), Wyatt (4), and baby Alannah (6 months).

Unable to work full-time due to his condition, Peter stayed home to raise and care for their children while Jennie worked nights as a nurse. He was a devoted, hands-on father—the kind who knew each child’s needs and joys, who gave his time freely, and loved them with everything he had.

Now Jennie is facing the unimaginable—trying to hold her family together while grieving the loss of her soulmate.

We are humbly asking for your support during this devastating time. Your donation will help cover essential living expenses—keeping food on the table, the mortgage paid, and providing stability for the children as they begin to navigate life without their dad.

We’re not asking for a lifetime of support. Jennie is continuing to work, and our family is doing all we can. But right now, they need a cushion to get through the hardest days—emotionally and financially.

If you’re able, please consider donating. If you’re not, we ask you to share this and leave a message of encouragement. Every bit of love and support helps Jennie and the kids know they are not alone.

From the bottom of our hearts—thank you.

Memorial services for Peter will begin with visiting hours at 5pm, Wednesday June 4th, 2025 at Barber’s Funeral Home in Johnson City, NY.
