A safe life for Ziad, help him get the childhood he deserves
United Kingdom
My name is Tita and I am raising funds for my friend Rozana, a mother in Gaza, who is struggling to feed her child. This is her heartbreaking story:
Hello, my name is Rozana. I live in Gaza. I am 28 years old. I have a family of three and a four-year-old child. We are living in a time of war, famine, and genocide. All I want is to live in peace and security and for my child to be healthy.
Our life before the genocide was somewhat beautiful. My husband worked as a teacher on a contract basis, and our dream was to get a job. Now, our dream is to provide food and flour, after he lost his only source of income and our simple dream was shattered.
Every 10 days, my family faces the following costs to survive and provide for their basic needs:
Basic shelter: $300
Food, including flour and vegetables: $450
Medicine and treatment: $250
About every six months, we need gas, if it’s available ($300) to continue cooking. Without gas, we are forced to search for wooden sticks in areas most vulnerable to shelling and gunfire by the occupation forces.
Imagine a 28-year-old mother having to ask for aid to raise money to buy food, shelter, and medicine for her family. The ongoing blockade of aid by the occupying forces since early March (March 2, 2025!) means that prices are beyond our purchasing power.
I need your urgent help to live safely. I launched this campaign on behalf of myself and my family.
Asking for help has never been easy, but we have no choice, so I ask you from the bottom of my heart to help us with all your strength in this critical and urgent situation. We would be extremely grateful.
I will never forget your kindness in our difficult times. Thank you.
