Updated July 19 2025 – Diab’s health has been declining. A few weeks ago he let me know that his vision had become blurry from malnutrition. Today his legs are so weak it is difficult to walk. The Aldin family is facing starvation. It is too dangerous for them to even attempt to retrieve aid. Please keep doing whatever you can to push for this genocide to end. Donations will be used for food and supplies for survival.Thank you for your continued support of this wonderful family.
Updated March 18 2025 – With the ceasefire broken the Aldin family is again in desperate need of your help.They are sheltering from the ongoing attacks in the remains of their home with no internet or power. Diab’s phone, his only way to access his funds and stay in contact, was smashed making it difficult for him to contact us until it is replaced. Donations received will help Diab purchase a replacement phone.
Updated Jan 31 2025 – The Aldin family have began repairing their family home but materials are in short supply and are very expensive. Donations will now also help pay for building materials.
My name is Marybeth, I have become a close friend of Diab Aldin over the past year and this campaign was created with Diab to provide crucial support for his family in Palestine consisting of 9 adults and 6 children.
We are aiming to raise a total of $3,100 USD ($4210.00 Canadian Dollars) to pay for food, essentials, medication, and anything else they may need to help them keep going. Multiple family members are suffering from injuries and illnesses in addition to their shelter recently being severely damaged.
In Diab’s own words, “My greatest dream now is simply to emerge from this war alive with my family, desiring nothing but safety and the right to live. We have lost everything that could be a means of livelihood. Amidst the emotional pain and tension that war brings, it also brings unexpected financial burdens that have finally led me to turn to this platform, humbly and lovingly seeking your support to help us escape to safety and save our innocent lives from this overwhelming death. Additionally, I ask you to share my story and stand in solidarity with us in the darkest moments of our lives. Thank you to all who assist me, each with their noble name and compassionate heart, for what you provide me with is the gift of life alone.”
