Bekah’s Love Lives On Through Support

My name is Nate Russell and simply put, I have lost the mother of my child. My 10 year old daughter has lost her mother and the reality of being a single father is terrifying. I worry that I won’t be enough, but of course I know that I have to step up either way. Bekah was so many things in this life. Honestly, there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do. Master gardener, welder, carpenter and all around amazing mother. If she put her mind to it she could do it. She made space and time for anyone and that love came back to her because anyone that met her, just loved her. She was just always looking out for people.

In her final weeks, as she physically got sicker she was still hoping for the best, but making it clear that she may not pull through. I wanted to believe that we would figure out a diagnosis or that things would somehow just get better, but this was not the case. I am reaching out to get some support as I navigate Bekah’s passing. This will give me the ability to give my daughter the immediate support and attention she needs from me, and to help with a memorial for family and friends to attend. I am looking at the 2nd weekend of July and am open to help secure a celebration location.
