Story
Born in Mexico, Rigoberto Luna lived a life defined by heart, resilience, and boundless energy. A devoted husband, father, grandfather, and friend, he met every challenge with courage — including his long battle after contracting COVID-19 in 2021. In July 2022, he underwent a heart and lung transplant, fighting with strength and grace. Though his body never fully recovered, he made the brave and peaceful decision to end treatment, surrounded by love.
Rigo, as many lovingly knew him, was passionate and full of life. A die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Atlanta Braves, and LAFC, he found joy in every game. His love for music knew no bounds — all styles, all eras, always played loud. He was often at concerts, on his bike, or doing something spontaneous that made life more exciting.
He was hard-working and humble, kind and chaotic, driven and deeply respectful. Rigo was attentive to those he loved, trustworthy to his core, and endlessly patient — a beautiful contradiction who made people feel truly seen.
Rigoberto is survived by his beloved wife, two children, and three grandchildren, who will carry forward his laughter, his music, and his fierce love for family.

He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed — but never forgotten.
