Charlevoix Golf Team Medical Relief

Story

The Board Members of Charlevoix County Junior Golf would like to request your financial support to the coach and players of the Charlevoix Golf Team.
The team was involved in a head on crash involving a fleeing driver about 8:50 pm on 4/27/25 that sent all eight (coach and 7 players) to the hospital, some in critical condition. They were on their way to their hotel after a two day golf event. Funds will be used for medical needs of Doug Drenth and his seven players not covered by family insurance as well as future needs as each person strives toward recovery from their injuries. Thank you.
Doug Drenth is the Executive Director of Charlevoix County Junior Golf, the varsity boys golf coach and Director of Charlevoix Municipal Golf Course.
Charlevoix County Junior Golf Board includes: Scott Kelly-President, Maureen Whitehead-Vice President, Sam Supernaw Jr-Treasurer, Vinnie Klooster-Secretary, Directors-Bruce Beaudoin, Gregg Whitley, Dave Gray, Steve Braun, Dean Davenport.
