You may have suffered or know of someone who has suffered from low self-esteem, during childhood, whatever the reason, low self-esteem often leads to anxiety, depression, self-harm and suicide in adolescents. Until we can develop a better system our primary KPI and the measures of our success will be the number of young people accessing our services, who show sustainable progress to a state of wellbeing in which they:
The stigma that surrounds mental illness stops our community and young people from talking about their thoughts and feelings.
People are not given the right tools and coping mechanisms to overcome in-school and cyber bullying and so easily become withdrawn and move on to believe no one loves them, followed by convincing themselves that the world would be a better place without them and finally consider or attempt suicide.
We feel that a Proactive Preventative approach is the key to inproving our community mental health, self-harm and suicide statistics. And that de-stigmatising mental illness will give our people the freedom to talk about their thoughts and feelings.
We firmly believe that the time to tackle this is from early childhood, to provide resources and coping mechanisms for children living in difficult circumstances and before in-school bullying and cyber bullying becomes established. Our focus will be on education, building resilience and providing support to children and young adults, but inclusive of the whole community.
If you believe that our preventative, rather than reactive, approach, has merit we would invite you to support our efforts to raise our profile, further engage with community groups. The community can benefit from our services, to provide a plan for recovery and build resilience into their life.
Your support will allow us to complete our education of the community, to provide parents and children from birth, the tool kit to become resilient to life’s issues and trauma.
Complete transperency.
Follow us on Facebook and on the Web, use our resources and seek advice.
All donations (with the donors approval) will be acknowledged and a quarterly aquital statement posted in our newsletter.

We will do our utmost to make every dollar count, we will leverage it whenever we can. In general terms we will use our own funds for the initial advertising and awareness campaigns. Once properly established our major source of funding is expected to be through continuing charitable donations, government grants, corporate sponsors and philanthropic organisations.
