7 September is National Threatened Species Day—a day to remember the wildlife we’ve lost and to fight for those still with us. For the next 24 hours, we need your help to protect Queensland’s most vulnerable wildlife. The endangered silver-headed antechinus and the vulnerable long-nosed potoroo are just two examples of the many small yet vital species quietly fighting for survival in our forests. These small native animals are integral to our ecosystem, but they’re slipping away, unnoticed.
