Hi everyone, We’re reaching out on behalf of our sweet 19-month-old daughter, Grace. Since the end of March, Grace has been struggling with persistent and painful ear infections. She’s gone through five rounds of antibiotics, has developed hearing loss in her left ear, and is now showing signs of a speech regression and delay due to the repeated infections. After numerous doctor’s appointments, they have recommended a surgical procedure to insert ear tubes in both of her ears — a common but essential procedure that can greatly improve her quality of life, restore her hearing, and help her catch up with critical speech development. The surgery is scheduled for September 12th, and while we are relieved there’s a path forward, the financial burden is more than we can manage on our own at this time. The total cost is estimated to be between $12,000 and $13,000, but we are asking for help covering $6,000 of that amount. Here’s a breakdown of the costs your support will go toward: $518 – Doctor/Surgeon’s fee $10,065.53 – Facility fee for Cooks Children Surgery Center Anesthesiologist fee – (Exact amount TBD after surgery) We are hopeful that this will be the only surgery Grace needs, and that it will give her the relief and developmental support she deserves!
