On July 30th, Ezekiel was scheduled for his first open-heart surgery, but he caught rhinovirus and was considered too high-risk to undergo the procedure. His surgery was then pushed back to August 29th, but once again, my sweet boy became sick with another respiratory infection, and the doctors had to reschedule. His next surgery is now set for September 24th at Scottish Rite Hospital. Right now, Ezekiel is in the hospital receiving breathing treatments and oxygen support, as his little body fights so hard against these infections. Watching him struggle breaks my heart every day, but I hold onto faith knowing that God is watching over him and has a plan for his healing. We are creating this GoFundMe to help cover the many financial burdens that come with Ezekiel’s care. All donations will be used toward: • Medical expenses related to Ezekiel’s heart surgery and hospital stays • Bills and household costs while we focus on being by Ezekiel’s side during this difficult journey • Essential medical supplies like the Owlet monitor to help us safely monitor him at home • Travel costs and necessities for hospital visits and follow-up care I’m humbly asking for your help in any way you feel led: Prayers – because I truly believe in miracles and healing through God’s power.
