My name is Yamen Nashwan, an electrical engineer who graduated with distinction.

I used to dream with a group of my fellow graduates,of opening an engineering office specialized in renewable energy,

to help our people in Gaza cope with the chronic electricity crisis.

We planned small solar energy projects. We dreamed of bringing light and hope to besieged homes.

But the war came and crushed everything.

The missiles of war spared nothing… Our four-story home was completely destroyed, our farmland was bulldozed, and our dreams were crushed beneath the tanks.

We were displaced seven times, moving from one area to another under fire, carrying with us only the fragments of our hearts. Today, we live in a torn tent in western Gaza, exposed to scorching heat by day and bitter cold at night, with no protection from bombing,or hunger.

I am now the sole provider for my entire family.

I bear all the burdens alone.

I secure food, medicine, water, and bread. I do everything I can to ensure no child of mine sleeps hungry.

I stand for hours in aid lines, search for firewood to cook, collect dry bread from the corners, and spend everything I have so my family doesn’t collapse.

I am the father, the brother, the uncle, the provider, and the only shelter for everyone.

There are 13 children in our tent who haven’t tasted proper food in months.

We cook lentils over firewood, drink salty water, and have only tears when someone falls ill.

My little nephew suffers from rickets. His bones are weak, his face is pale from malnutrition and lack of medical care.

Recently, he was injured in the head while sitting in front of the tent.

When I heard, I couldn’t feel my legs ,I was paralyzed with fear.

I ran to the hospital and found the doctor stitching his head, with blood filling his ears.

I cried like a child.

My beloved father was seriously injured in the foot while we were fleeing Beit Hanoun.

I carried him in my arms to the hospital, and he underwent a dangerous surgery that lasted over 7 hours.

He barely survived, but he still needs a second surgery outside Gaza, which costs over $15,000.

Without it, he risks permanent disability or even amputation. ### Why I’m Asking for Your Help:

– To save my father from disability and amputation through urgent surgery.

– To treat my nephew with rickets and provide him with therapeutic nutrition.

– To secure food, clean water, and medicine for my children and family.

– To offer my family a glimpse of dignity in the midst of this nightmare.

Every donation ,no matter how small

is a light in the darkness, a loaf of bread for a hungry child, a medicine for a suffering father, a blanket for a cold tent.

You may not be able to stop the war,

but you can help save an entire family from hunger and despair.

I am engineer Yamen Nashwan,

writing to you from the rubble,

carrying a pen and hope,

and I ask you to stand with my wounded family.

ممكن يكون التحديث بهذا To everyone who has supported us before, and especially to the friends of Will Menaker, I am reaching out once again in desperate need.

We are still trapped in unbearable conditions in Gaza surrounded by hunger, fear, and disease. Since the start of the war, we have been displaced multiple times, each time leaving behind what little we had in search of safety. Now, we face yet another forced displacement as the bombings close in and survival becomes harder each day.

My children are suffering daily deprivation, my father is in constant pain with no medicine or treatment, and our tent cannot protect us from the burning heat of the day or the cold of the night.

Your past donations kept us alive until now, and today I beg you once more to extend your help. We urgently need food, baby milk, and essential medicines before it’s too late.

Every contribution, no matter how small, makes a real difference. Please, stand with us again and help us survive this darkest time.

Dear friends,

Today I bring you news that could change our lives… A wonderful man from the USA, with a kind and generous heart, has offered to help us in a special way. If we can raise $1,000, he will start doubling every donation that comes after. That means if you donate $100, it will become $200, and if you donate $50, it will become $100. This is a golden chance to save our lives, and I beg you not to miss it.

But let me share with you our current suffering…

Hospitals and pharmacies in Gaza are empty of medicines. I searched everywhere for treatment for my father, who suffers from diabetes, high blood pressure, and a severe leg injury. I only found it in one place, but the price was so high that I couldn’t afford it. Can you imagine seeing your father crying in pain, unable to speak from exhaustion and illness, while you know the medicine is right there in front of you but the price is the barrier? This is what breaks me the most.

Last week, our goal was to reach £15,000, but sadly, we could not achieve it.

We urgently need to reach this target because we must cover:

More than $1,200 to buy a sack of flour and some canned food.

$1,000 to secure the life-saving medicines my father desperately needs.

And what makes things even harder is that the Israeli army is forcing us once again to evacuate to the south. Evacuation means leaving our torn tent behind, paying huge costs for transport, buying a new tent, and starting the suffering all over again. Evacuation is not just moving—it is being uprooted from what little stability we had left.

I beg you, from the bottom of my heart… Please help us cross the $1,000 mark so that our American friend can begin doubling your donations. Every minute could mean life or death for my father and my children.

Donate whatever you can, and be the reason we survive.

I never imagined things would reach this point.

I never expected to see my brothers and sisters, especially 18 young children, starving before my eyes while I stand helpless, unable to do anything for them.

Every day, the situation gets worse, and surviving becomes harder than the day before.

Every day, I go to the “aid center” just to get a little flour to quiet our hunger, but I am weak… I cannot bear all of this.

I see death approaching us, and I don’t even have the strength to say no.

Every donation you make helps save my family — a family of 24 people, including 18 children.

Every single donation prevents a tear from falling because of hunger and gives these children a chance to live.

I thank everyone who has helped us, and everyone who will help in the future.

I send you all my love and respect from the heart of Gaza. ❤️
