Stephanie and I met 8 years ago while developing and practicing our gifts in a Facebook group. Unfortunately, Stephanie and her family are going through the most difficult thing a family can go through, a medical crisis. Stephanie’s husband, Christian Macias, had emergency surgery in Connecticut several weeks ago. He had been doing better and came home briefly, where Stephanie was caring for him before he became sick again, had to receive CPR, and was rushed to the hospital. He is currently in Intensive Care, where Stephanie, their children, and Christian’s family wait to see if he will wake up. Christian is the breadwinner for the family, so the loss of his income plus all the extra expenses with his medical care have added up. Medical care is expensive and can be financially devastating when a person needs a long stay in the hospital. In addition to money for medical expenses, the family needs extra assistance right now to pay for gas, travel, and household expenses.
