On Wednesday August 27th around 7pm my best friend Ashley’s husband Brandon was one of several people involved in a fatal accident on the bypass in Copperas Cove. By the grace of God he is alive ❤️ he has a broken wrist, fractured sternum, fractured pelvis, severe head laceration, cuts and bruises everywhere… but he is alive and we could not be more grateful ❤️ He had surgery yesterday on his wrist, and while he was under they determined that manipulation on the joint instead of surgery on his pelvis/hip joint was as the best course of action.. His surgery went well, and his arm is casted/immobilized. He is hurting pretty bad, as they were not able to do a nerve block so he is feeling 100% of it, pain meds can only do so much. We don’t know when he will be released yet but recovery is looking like minimum of 6 weeks of no walking/weight bearing and of course no use of his right/dominant hand. Right now I am asking for financial help for their family as Brandon will be out of work for the next few months at least and Ashley needs to be available to him as much as possible. Any help that you can give is greatly appreciated and will serve to alleviate some of the stress of this awful situation.
