My name is Abigail Aldape, daughter to a beautiful mother named Maria Isabel Rivera. My mom touched the hearts of many and always welcomed everyone in her home. Early on in February, she was diagnosed with an aggressive form of gastric cancer and given a poor prognosis. Despite the uphill battle, she decided to fight it to give us some hope. I’m saddened to say that my mother gained her wings on May 20, 2025, just a day before her birthday.
