Let’s Globalize Breech Birth!

Breech training is important for every maternity care provider, whether in a tertiary hospital, birth center, home, rural health clinic, or refugee camp. However, quality training costs money. Places that need it most often have the fewest financial resources. But we can change that!

This fundraiser will support global breech education, prioritizing places in the world that are the most financially disadvantaged. Your donation will support vaginal breech trainings around the world as well as translation fees for our online breech training course (Breech Pro) and our book (A Guide to Physiological Breech Birth) so we can train people in their native languages.

What started as a slip of the tongue turned into our favorite new slogan: Vaginalize Breech Birth! Our midwife instructor Kristine Lauria meant to say “normalize vaginal breech birth” but we think her new version is even better.

I need the blue Vaginalize Breech Birth t-shirt. My second was breech. I’m a midwifery student. I took the BWB class in Sept with David Hayes and Betty Anne Daviss in Vancouver – BUT your campaign is not shipping to Canada. Please please ship to Canada. Surely that’s easier than shipping to the EU?!

Hi Jenny, it’s Rixa from BWB. We currently have distributors in the EU and UK, which is why we can ship to those places as well. Canada is not in the distributor network, however, and shipping from the US is cost prohibitive. I will update if we are able to find a solution!
