Hamza and Family Struggling to Survive in Gaza

My name is Hamza. I live in Gaza, where war and famine have destroyed everything i once had. I am a person who loves life and wishes good for everyone.

I once had a family home in Jabalia and a small buisness I built with my own hands. Today, it is all gone.

I have lost many relatives- my Grandmother, my Uncle, too many Friends to count and recently my Father because there was no medicine.

Now, as young man, I am the only one left to provide for my family of six, as well as my two married sister’s families including my young niece and nephew. It breaks my heart to look into their hungry, sad eyes.

For two years, I tried not to ask for help, hoping the war would end soon. But it hasn’t. We have been displaced again and again, with no safety, no stability and no future in sight.

At night, we lie awake to the sound of bombs. By day, we flee to tents, running from rockets that fall around us. Every day I ask myself: What will we eat today? Where will we sleep tomorrow?

No amount of money can bring back what we have lost. But your support can keep us alive. It can mean food, shelter, and a chance to survive till peace returns.

Every day, hungry mouths look to me for food I cannot provide. My ONLY wish is to keep them alive- to give them the dignity of food, shelter, and the chance to live like every human being deserves.
