Greetings, kind hearted people. This campaign is being created for Hamza Kamal Qadih, a sweet 19 year old surviving in Gaza. Hamza lived in the agricultural border town of Khuza’a, a small town of only 11,000 people, where his father was a general practitioner. But after October 7th of 2023, Hamza’s life changed drastically. He and his family of 9 members were forced to flee their little town, and have not been able to return home since. They have had to live in a tent for the past 15 months in Southern Gaza, and Hamza misses his village of Khuza’a every day.
For now, Hamza hopes to reach goal of $30,000 for basic necessities like food, clothing, and medicines for his family of 9. Since being forcefully expelled from their village, the Qadih family has no income, and prices in Gaza for even the most basic necessities are extremely inflated due to the blockade. Additionally tent life is very hard, and Hamza and his family lack adequate winter clothes to bear the cold Gaza winters. Hamza hopes to someday be able to seek refuge in Egypt, for a ceasefire, and for his family to live in peace.
I personally met Hamza through Instagram, where he was very upset because the last people in charge of his previous campaign scammed his donations. The end result of that is that no money has reached Hamza’s family in quite some time. All money donated in this campaign will be directly sent to Hamza via international wire transfer, which takes a bit of time and transfer fees to reach him. The great news for you, generous donor, is that it is simple to donate via this campaign, and when he has a considerable amount in his campaign, I will transfer the funds to him in Gaza.
