Hello, my name is Adel. I’m 29 years old and was working in construction before the war in Gaza changed everything.
Like so many others, I’ve lost my home, my job, and my future plans. I had hoped to get married and start a family, but the war destroyed my house and all the savings I’d worked hard to build. Now, I live in displacement, sharing space with my family—seven of us in total—and we are struggling just to meet our basic needs.
There is no work, no income, and every day is a challenge to find food, clean water, and electricity to charge our phones or cook a meal. We sleep in overcrowded spaces, and even the smallest comforts—like a mattress or a warm cup of tea—have become rare luxuries.
This fundraiser is to help cover the cost of daily essentials:
