I am Ahmed Hassanein from Beit Hanoun, North Gaza. I am 30 years old, married with three children. My first child, Maher, is 6 years old and suffers from a chronic gluten allergy. My second child, Omar, is 3 years old, and my daughter, Misk, is a newborn. I used to work as a pizza and pastry chef, and now I am unemployed because of the war. I built my house before the war, but I only lived in it for 7 months. I paid what I had to be able to rebuild my house. Now my house is in ruins, completely destroyed. Help me, my family, and my children to survive and get out of Gaza.

I never imagined things would come to this. I never expected to see my children, my brothers and my family dying of hunger while I stand helpless, unable to do anything for them. Day by day, the situation is getting worse. Every day, I go to “Death Aid” just to get a little flour to keep our stomachs at bay. But I’m weak – I can’t stand all this. I see death looming in front of me, and I can’t even say no.
