Help Amals Family in Gaza

My story begins with my first pregnancy journey which began while I was alone in the south with my baby, Ghala. It started on October 13, when my home was targeted by an F-16 missile. I was in the second month of my pregnancy and was forced to flee. At that time, there was no transportation available, so I walked 14 kilometres from Gaza to the Al-Nusairat camp in search of safety. Our car was destroyed, and we no longer had a home. I moved between the homes of friends and relatives.

During my pregnancy, I contracted hepatitis three times—twice while pregnant and once after Ghala was born. This prevented me from breastfeeding her. The illness lasted three weeks, during which I couldn’t eat or even drink water, causing my milk to dry up. Ghala had to start drinking formula by the second week of my illness.

On top of the hardship of displacement, we’ve been living in a tent since November of last year.

But the tragedy didn’t end there. Ghala has now reached one of the most delicate stages in a child’s development—the crawling phase—when babies explore the world by putting everything they find into their mouths. She crawls toward the sand and puts anything she finds—sand included—into her mouth. As a result, she contracted a disease from the contaminated sand. There are no medicines or deworming treatments available in pharmacies or hospitals.

She also developed a fungal infection that has recently been spreading among children—known as “the wandering pimple,” a bacterial condition affecting both children and adults.

The suffering continues as Ghala begins her first steps in life, surrounded by pollution, disease, and epidemics—with no access to proper medical care or treatment.

And now, Ghala is a year and a half old—and the suffering still hasn’t ended. She needs shelter and nutritious food. She needs toys and a safe, child-friendly environment. She deserves a chance at life—just like any other child in the world.

I once had dreams for my children, but now I am simply fighting to keep them alive.

Currently I’m in my second pregnancy and still suffering from health issues. I need mineral drinking water because my salt levels have reached 100%, and I have a medical report confirming this. All I need is to provide a safe and healthy environment for my children under these difficult circumstances, ensuring they have access to proper food and clean water.”*

I hope you could help

Hello my friends. I am now divorced and have no money to support myself. I have a daughter, and I am also pregnant. I am in urgent need of financial support for myself and my child, who needs diapers, milk, and nutritional support.

Due to the severe famine we’ve experienced, my account balance has been completely depleted, and I can no longer afford even the most basic needs for my small family. I am currently in the last month of my pregnancy and in desperate need of proper nutrition to ensure a safe delivery. I need dates and nutritional supplements so I can give birth and breastfeed my baby.

I kindly ask anyone reading this message to help me. If I don’t receive support soon, I may be forced to sell the only thing I own — my phone — which I rely on to share my campaign and seek donations. Despite actively sharing my campaign on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram, I haven’t received even a single dollar in donations for over a month.

Additionally, the security situation in Gaza is extremely dangerous. Death and danger are everywhere. What once seemed like an impossible dream — returning to Gaza — has become a nightmare. Today, the real challenge is survival: either stay in Gaza and risk death or flee in search of safety. I now face the difficult decision to evacuate, and I urgently need money to buy a tent and some basic supplies to live in.

Please, help me.
