Amir and Aboud…

This is what remains of our lives.

My name is Amir Imad and my brother Aboud Imad, young men from Gaza, where life is measured by breaths and the hope of survival.

Before the war, we lived a normal life—like any young person dreaming of a better future.

I was studying computer engineering and information technology at university, and my brother was studying mechanical engineering.

We worked hard to help our father support our family.

We owned a money exchange shop and a small shop that sold cigarettes and hookah, We also worked selling and repairing mobile phones. We had a warm home, a stable life, and a family of nine, including three young children.

But then everything changed when the devastating war began. In an instant, I lost my home, my job, my university, and the life I’d built.

Gaza is no longer what it was

No electricity, no clean water, no food, no safety. My brothers ask me every day, “When will the war end?” And I have no answer.

Today, we are struggling for survival. We are not living, we are just trying to survive. I am reaching out to you, human to human: Please help me rebuild a small part of my life – to feed my family, to continue my education, and to find a safe place to start over.

Every donation, no matter how small, is a light in this darkness.

Thank you from my heart.

Amir and Aboud from Gaza.
