I’am Claudia Borza from Italy and I represent little Arwa and her three siblings in Al-Shaba Gaza with the fundraising campaign for basic necessities, food, medicine, milk, and diapers. Little Arwa is 1.5 years old, has a genetic disorder, and urgently needs constant medical care! The family has all the documentation ready for treatment abroad! In Gaza, she lives in a tent without medical care and without food and basic things!

THE STORY OF HER MOTHER SHAIMA

My name is Shamima Daoud Muhammad Shamali. I am from Gaza, east of Al-Tuffah, or what is called Shujaiya. I lost my husband in an attack when he went to bring food and clothes for the children. We also lost the children’s grandfather and uncle in the same attack.

I have four children that I take care of myself. The eldest is Waseem, 11 years old; Shaimaa, 9 years old; Suleiman, 8 years old; and the little girl, who is a year and a half old, is named Arwa.

Since my husband’s death, I have been suffering a lot. We have been displaced many times, and now I am with my mother and brother living in a house in an area called Al-Sahaba. We have no income, no one helps us, and there is no institution that sponsors my children.

I am trying to get food for my children while waiting for the hospice to get some food which is not enough for the four children

Despite all these difficulties, Arwa needs urgent treatment and to leave Gaza so that she can be treated before her condition deteriorates. She has a genetic disease called dwarfism and needs continuous physical therapy and a spinal operation, but treatment is not available In gaza
