I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support for my 25-year-old cousin, Ashley, who is facing a life-threatening medical crisis with no health insurance to cover her care. Ashley was recently hospitalized with fluid in her lungs and urgently needs blood transfusions and a major surgery to save her life.
Her condition is critical, and every moment counts. What makes this even more heartbreaking is that just eight months ago, Ashley lost her mother to similar health complications. She is still grieving that loss, and now she is fighting for her own life under incredibly difficult circumstances — physically, emotionally, and financially. Because Ashley is uninsured, she must pay for her treatment entirely out of pocket. The costs for hospitalization, surgery, transfusions, and aftercare are overwhelming, and our family simply cannot manage this alone. That’s why we’re turning to you — our friends, family, and kind strangers — for help.
