Help Bilal’s Family Survive Displacement in Gaza
Hello, my name is Emily Miller, and I’m helping share the story of Bilal Wahba, a 25-year-old husband and son from Rafah, Gaza. Bilal and his entire family have been displaced three times since the beginning of the war in Gaza. Today, they are living in makeshift tents in Mawasi, Khan Yunis, struggling daily to survive under unthinkable conditions.
Bilal’s family includes:
His father, 47
His wife, 23
His younger brother, 23
His teen brother, 17
His sister, just 13
His little brother, 5
And his mother, who is currently in Egypt for urgent medical treatment after being injured in the war.
Bilal and his wife live in one tent, while the rest of the family sleeps in another. They have no stable shelter, no income, and no access to proper medical care.
Bilal’s younger brother is suffering from a serious foot injury. He needs:
Physical therapy
Antibiotics
Tendon-strengthening medications
But the family simply cannot afford the treatment.
Meanwhile, Bilal’s mother is in Egypt receiving care, but they can’t even send her money to pay for her treatment or daily needs.
This fundraiser will help cover:
Urgent medical treatment for Bilal’s brother and mother
Basic supplies for their tents (clean water, food, hygiene items)
Clothing, fuel, and other essentials to survive the brutal conditions
Safe transportation and any opportunity for relocation if possible
