My name is Cardin, and I’m a 21-year-old transgender individual. I’m reaching out for support to help me afford gender affirming top surgery, a vital step in my journey towards living authentically as myself.

Living with gender dysphoria has been a constant struggle for me. It’s difficult to put into words the deep discomfort and distress I feel every day with my body not aligning with my true identity. The pain of not being able to look in the mirror and see the person I truly am takes a toll on my mental health and overall well-being.

Gender affirming top surgery is not just a cosmetic procedure for me – it’s a life-changing experience that will alleviate my gender dysphoria and allow me to finally feel comfortable in my own skin. It’s about more than just physical appearance; it’s about feeling whole, confident, and at peace with myself.

Unfortunately, due to my ABI (Acquired Brain Injury), my ability to work and save money is limited. Despite this challenge, I’ve been doing everything I can to save up for the surgery. I’ve been making and selling dog treats, but the costs of living and medical expenses continue to pile up, making it increasingly difficult for me to reach my goal.
