My name is Sammy Dieken located in the USA, and I’m organizing this fundraiser on behalf of my dear friend, Dalia Shaqoura, a resilient mother living in Gaza with her family who are stuck in terrifying and severe situation. Their situation is urgent and a humanitarian crisis.
Dalia is currently pregnant,navigating her third trimester under unimaginable conditions — surrounded by war, scarcity, and fear.
I have been in contact with her & her family for a few months now. Their source of income was taken away when their home and car were destroyed by tanks and missiles. They rely on aid alone. Despite everything Dalia has endured, she has remained full of warmth, kindness, compassion, and faith. She shares stories of her son — his laughter, his interests— even as the world around them collapses. What she asks for is not luxury. She simply wants the ability to feed her son, safely give birth, and bring back a small sense of normalcy.
What Your Donation Supports:
This is a personal, humanitarian fundraiser. Every dollar raised will go directly toward:
• Baby supplies and safe delivery support
• Emergency food for the family
• Medicine and hygiene products
• Access to clean water and electricity backup
• Support for her children’s well-being and future

How the Funds Will Be Sent:
Because Chuffed does not support direct transfers to Gaza, I (Sammy) will receive the funds in my U.S. bank account. From there, I will personally send the money to Dalia’s verified family via transfers to the Bank of Palestine — a verified and internationally recognized institution used by major aid organizations. Every transfer will be handled with care, transparency, and receipts that will be updated on here as things progress.

Dalia has given me permission to share her story. She longs to see her children experience a life beyond fear and hunger, to laugh again, to sleep peacefully, to eat chocolate or play with toys. She dreams of bringing new life into the world without bombs overhead.
