As many of you know, David Hayes is currently undergoing dialysis 24/7 and is in urgent need of a kidney transplant. While David’s health journey is difficult enough on its own, potential donors who step forward to help face significant out-of-pocket costs during the process of testing and evaluation.

These costs often include travel, meals, temporary housing, and other related expenses — most of which are not covered by insurance or reimbursed by the recipient. Unfortunately, these financial burdens can discourage even the most willing donors from continuing the process.
