Farah, her family, and PDX Pigeon Mutual Aid

Hello our dearest who have been with us through thick and thin. Thanks to your help, Farah was able to be stitched up and her wounds dressed, and we can not thank you enough for keeping Farah alive through these dreadful circumstances.

Unfortunately, she is still hospitalized, and the hospital continues to demand payment for her first surgery, on threat of kicking her out. They have thus far been sated with incremental payments, but are becoming less and less patient. She still owes the hospital $800 for the previous surgeries.

Atop this, she has gone five days without food at the time of writing! She hopes to be able to get enough to feed herself and pay off the hospital, especially in hopes of obtaining another procedure to regain her fertility.

Please, anything you can give will go a long way towards keeping Farah safe, fed and hydrated. Thank you all for your continued support and concern. The world needs people like you who care and contribute.

URGENT: Farah needs our help!

Farah’s pregnancy unfortunately resulted in a miscarriage that has left her hospitalized and bleeding. She is in a lot of active pain, and though the hospital intook her without need for upfront payment (as referenced in our last update), they are discontinuing treatment and painkillers until she is able to pay. She is relying on our support to recover from her traumatic surgery to remove the miscarried embryo.

The hospital is demanding $1500 from Farah for her surgery and continued treatment, but even $300 would go a long way towards getting her painkillers at least.

Thank you everyone for your support in these horrible circumstances. You keep our hope for a better future alive.

Thanks to everyone’s continued support, Farah has been able to keep herself and her family alive in Deir al-Balah.

She is now pregnant, and has been needing money for vitamin supplements to aid the poor diet available to the people suffering in G*za. She needs over $800 just for medicine, and much more to comfortably eat and feed her family.

To address complications with her pregnancy, she has been forced to seek medical treatment before being able to properly pay the doctor. Gracefully, the hospital accepted an incomplete payment, but expects to be payed in full within the week. Your support means more than words can say, and thank you to everyone who has so generously donated to lighten the suffering of those in need.
